Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

Welcome to Homa Studio. By booking a session or hiring us for a digital project, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking & Deposits

Photography: A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date and time in our diary. The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot.
Web & Software: A 50% deposit is required before any development work begins. The remaining 50% is due upon project completion and before final delivery/launch.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that life happens. However, to protect our business continuity:

Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule a photography session.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may forfeit the booking fee.
If Homa Studio needs to cancel (due to illness or equipment failure), a full refund or a priority rescheduled slot will be offered.

3. Photography: Copyright & Usage

Copyright: Under UK Copyright Law, the copyright of all images remains with Homa Studio.
Client License: We grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the images for personal use (or commercial use, if a commercial package was purchased).
Iris Photography: While we ensure safety, clients confirm they have no medical eye conditions that prevent photography. Homa Studio is not liable for any discomfort arising from undisclosed conditions.

4. Web & App Development: Ownership

Unlike many agencies, we believe you should own what you pay for.

Upon full payment of the final invoice, full intellectual property (IP) rights and source code ownership are transferred to the Client.
Homa Studio reserves the right to display the completed work in our portfolio unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) has been signed.

5. Limitation of Liability

Homa Studio will carry out services with professional care and skill. However, our liability for any loss or damage (including data loss or technical downtime) is limited to the total value of the contract. We are not liable for third-party hosting failures or software updates released after project completion.
